CEG blog October 2021
The CEG met virtually on 4 October. We received an update from CEO Mark Horsley who took us through a number of issues including gas prices.
We then received an update on the proposed Supplier Code of Conduct, which the Company is introducing, and which had been considered as part of a ‘deep dive’ by one of our Sub-Groups.
A key issue for us as a CEG is fuel poverty and a summary of the current position and future proposed actions were presented to us. Our Social Sub-Group is undertaking regular scrutiny of the issue.
We received a presentation on HR strategies that the company is developing, and then gave focus to InTEGRel, with presentations on
– NGN future Networks Strategy;
– East Coast Hydrogen;
– Hydrogen Village Trials;
– Hydeploy; and
– H21 Phase 2b.
We then considered NGN’s stakeholder engagement programme and concluded our discussions with a look forward to what we’d want to discuss at the next session.
