The CEG met virtually on 7 June. We discussed a range of issues but started with a business update which included the current position on discussions with the CMA and the re-mobilisation of offices in the context of Covid.
The Group discussed a number of governance issues and then moved into sessions around the theme of Systems and Operation including sessions on the following:
– workforce resilience; and
– digitisation.
We then spent some time looking at aspects of the Environment Action Plan followed by activity under the ‘Future Networks’ theme which covered whole systems, transition to low carbon gases and related innovations.
The CEG received its regular update on stakeholder engagement where we were advised of the engagement being carried out in respect the Company’s workstreams for delivering RIIO2.
Before we reflected on the meeting and the things we had heard and challenged, we were given a presentation on Customer experience, Vulnerable Customers, Social Mobility and related innovation – important areas of interest for us on behalf of customers and stakeholders.
At the conclusion of our main meeting we were then given a briefing on hydrogen and the company’s work in this respect.
